My First Time: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

I put off writing this for so long that I wasn’t going to bother posting it anymore. But what better way to celebrate JKR and Harry’s birthday than sharing some magic? This experience meant so much to me which is why I haven’t been able to just sit and write it out. But, here’s me trying to share my first time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The Wizarding World in Hollywood opened over a year ago today, and how I planned to be one of the first people to step into Hogsmeade but life had other plans and instead I went the day Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them released in theaters with a bunch of Potterheads known as the Los Angeles Dumbledore’s Army. This fan made group created an event which called for going to the WWoHP dressed up in 1920’s garb following an IMAX screening of Fantastic Beasts in CityWalk. Honestly, there was no better way to experience this place for the first time than with people who are just as passionate about HP. If you’re a Potterhead living in or near LA I definitely recommend you join the group as they always have fun HP related events going on!
So, here we go! Yes, I cried. Not upon the first steps walking in. Surprisingly, I kept my cool up until I reached the castle. This was the place that had filled my imagination and dreams as a kid. The place I always longed to escape to when times got hard. And now I could physically step into it. It was like the moment in The Sorcerer’s Stone when Harry gets his wand and there was that dramatic gush of wind, music, and spotlight. I was home.
After the initial shock wore off, my sister and I set to scope out every corner of Hogsmeade and to be honest, it didn’t take long. The Wizarding World in Hollywood is small. I’ve never been to the one in Florida but I know theirs is much bigger. All the same, Universal Studios Hollywood provides the same careful craft of making you feel completely immersed in the world JKR created.
There are two rides: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff. Both are a great time and I’m a bigger fan of Forbidden Journey now that it is no longer 3D (made one a little sick before). It’s a great thrill ride and I get to see beautiful and pure Harry playing Quidditch as if I were flying right beside him. This ride is located inside the castle which is the piece de resistance. As you wait in line, you get to see the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore’s office and so much more. Although I have not done so myself, I believe you can just do a walkthrough of the castle instead of waiting in the queue for the ride. I won’t give more away in case you’re waiting to see and ride it for yourself. Flight of the Hippogriff’s only flaw is that it’s TOO short. But if the wait isn’t bad, I still recommend you go on it. You get to meet Buckbeak just don’t forget your manners and bow.
After riding both rides, my sister and I ate at the Three Broomsticks for lunch. I had the ribs platter with corn on the cob and potatoes. So good! The atmosphere in here is straight out of the movie with its rustic aesthetic. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside the restaurant and both views are enchanting as you have the wonderful view of Hogwarts outside. On the rare occasions I visit the park by myself, I take my journal, order a butterbeer and just write on one of the tables outside. These moments truly make me feel like a Hogwarts student. Oh, and since I brought it up, let me just say, butterbeer is amazing!
Bellies full, we decided to walk through all the shops. Bad idea for my weak resistance to pretty things. Obviously, I wanted to buy everything! For whatever reason, I didn’t do as much damage as I could have that day. But, I did indulge myself in buying Harry’s wand, a chocolate frog, and a few pins. I was upset they didn’t offer my Pottermore chosen wand so I’m holding out, hoping they come out with more types of wands in the future.
After catching the Triwizard Spirit Rally & the Hogwarts Frog Choir (both great shows my personal favorite is the Frog Choir – ♫ Move your body like a hairy troll, learning to rock and roll spin around like a crazy elf dancing by himself ♫ ), it was time to watch Fantastic Beast and if the whole day wasn’t magical enough the film was just as dazzling. I can’t wait for the next one! The Wizarding World in Hollywood a wonderful escape from the Muggle world. I can’t help but awe each time I visit like it was the first time. It’s overwhelming for sure if you have grown up with Harry Potter. And now thinking about how it’s been 20 years since the Philosopher’s Stone released I can’t help but feel even more nostalgic. Happy birthday Joanne Rowling and the Harry Potter!
“Whether you come back by page or by the big screen (or theme park), Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”

“Currently” is a series I picked up from Alice over at a nudge in the right direction which I believe originated here.
This is a great series to update what’s currently going on in my life – what I’ve been doing, loving and thinking about.
LOVING:
Musicals! I’ve always been a fan of musicals like all kids who grow up on Disney but, Broadway musicals have rapidly become an obsession. I think it started when I went to see a screening of Les Miserables. I was sixteen and the main reason I went to see it was because I was obsessed with Nick Jonas and he was going to play the part of Marius. Tbh, it wasn’t his best performance but I enjoyed the rest of the musical regardless. Flash forward to my first attendance of the live production of Wicked and then Phantom and I was hooked! Last year, Hamilton came into my life and what a spiritual experience that was! And guess what, friends? This girl got tickets to see the Hamiltour in San Francisco next month! When I received the confirmation email for those tickets I swear there was a light that shined down on me as I looked up to the heavens and heard the beautiful choir of Hamilton sing.
I also love this quote which I just yesterday:
But some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again. – C.S. Lewis
READING:
At the moment I’m not reading anything I know, I know shame on me. But I just finished listening to an audiobook of Jane’s Austen’s Sense & Sensibility and currently listening to Mansfield Park. This audiobook collection is a dramatic reading of all of Jane Austen’s novels and I’ve been enjoying it so much! 110% recommend! Here’s the link!
WATCHING:
I started rewatching Breaking Bad. Seriously one of the best shows to have ever been created. The Walking Dead just finished its season so I’ll have to wait in anguish for that show to return in the fall.
THOUGHTS:
My thoughts are muddled by the fact that I need to find another job asap. My manager basically gave my job to another person having no reason to whatsoever. To sum up, I was training this person for a month having been told they would be moving to another branch so you could imagine my shock when I was the one to actually be replaced and moved to another office to do a “project.” The first day at this new office I got so upset with what they had me doing that I had the impulse to quit. But first, I went to lunch to take a step back and think about the consequences quitting would have. I came to the conclusion that this is exactly what my employer wants so they won’t have to pay me unemployment had they just let me go. But unfortunately, until I find something else, I’m at an impasse and can’t afford to leave. It’s not like it was a dream job or anything. It was just a stepping stone just something to bring in an income. I was getting too comfortable here and the truth is I deserve better now more than ever. So, no I’m not upset because I loved my job, I’m upset because these people are shady and what they did was wrong.
There’s only one thing I can do and it's moving on and moving forward. There’s something better for me I can only hope it comes my way soon.
ANTICIPATING:
My trip to San Francisco next month! Not only do I get to see Hamilton but I also get to see my friends from college!
WISHING:
Things at work get better!
MAKING ME HAPPY:
Musicals, audiobooks and my always supportive family!
I hope you are all in a good place! What have you been loving and thinking about lately? If you ever faced a difficult situation at work, how did you cope with it? Or, if you have any advise anything would be helpful and I’d appreciate it!

This is a great series to update what’s “currently” going on in my life – what I’ve been doing, loving and thinking about.
LOVING:
Blogging. I can’t believe I wrote at least once a week in January. Many thanks to The Nerdy Girlie and Super Space Chick for their 5 Fandom Friday prompts. I also have been enjoying reading more blogs on bloglovin. You can see the ones I follow here.
Another thing I’ve been doing and LOVING is taking my journal to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and writing at the Three Broomsticks. There is a sitting area in the back that has tables with perfect views of Hogwarts. It feels amazing like I’m a student at Hogwarts especially with my wand and butterbeer at my side. What better place to find some inspiration and magic.
Fit Girl is a healthy lifestyle guide that I’ve been doing for two weeks now. They have different programs the beginner’s is the 28 Day Jumpstart and it includes meal and fitness plans. These are meals you’ll actually enjoy and can easily make. And what’s special about this program is the community. Fit girls are encouraged to support and inspire one another mainly through instagram. I’ve had ups and a whole lot of downs during my first round but this program is so reassuring and hopeful. One of their mottoes is “progress not perfection” and that’s what I’m striving towards.
READING:
Pride and Prejudice. This is my fourth reread of Austen’s masterpiece. And it’s making me very nostalgic because my first two reads of the novel happened during two literature courses I studied at university (one being a full on Jane Austen course I know how awesome, right?). Therein began my love affair with her novels. If you’ve been wanting to get into Austen and don’t know which novel to start with, I recommend Pride and Prejudice or Northanger Abbey because it’s on the shorter side of her novels.
WATCHING:
The Office. The Office. The Office. And more The Office. I’m half way through season eight so almost done. The Walking Dead is back and oh how I missed the stress. The final season of Bates Motel just started and I can’t wait to see how they end things. Looks like the season might end just before or right after the shower scene in Hitchcock’s Psycho.
Film wise, I am going to try and watch the films nominated for best picture by Oscars Sunday so I can root for my faves.
THOUGHTS:
Am the only one who felt that January was more exhausting than refreshing? I wanted to kick off the year with energy and motivation but that became difficult because of the daily news I would wake up to every day since the inauguration. It just seems like everyone is in a tense state. Coworkers, friends, and family can’t bring up politics in fear of being judged one way or another. I’ve been given many eye rolls from family when I can’t help but speak out and comment on what’s going on. One family member has even told me I’m being “too liberal.”
Because of this, I’ve been limiting my time on twitter and instagram. And after only 5 days of absence from these social media outlets, I felt so much better. I realize that I shouldn’t make myself blissfully ignorant so I do take the time to inform myself about what’s going on just on less opinionated and enraged outlets. Don’t get me wrong, there is obviously reason to be angry and upset (I’m right there too) it's just sometimes posted can become so distorted and manipulative that it’s challenging to interpret news your own way. I’m glad and hopeful though, that so many have made it a point to become more aware of what’s going on in the world and using that knowledge to do something about it. It seems that for every discriminatory and unjust action the new administration makes there are so many willing to speak up and challenge him/them for what’s right.
ANTICIPATING:
I’m always looking forward to planning my next Disneyland or Universal Studios trip. I’m an annual pass holder to both and although they have sucked my wallet dry, I’ve been going every chance I get to make it worth it. They’ve become my second and third homes.
WISHING:
That it was March 16th already so I can see Beauty & the Beast!
MAKING ME HAPPY:
Family, writing and theme parks!
How are you currently doing? What are you loving and thinking about? Let me know or if you have made or plan to make a currently post link me I’d love to read it!

Happy Saturday everyone! I know this comes a day late but I didn’t want to miss another Fandom Friday. Here are my favorite sequels in film:
- Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. This is my favorite Star Wars movie. Yoda. Hoth. AT-ATs. The biggest shock of cinematic history (maybe if you didn’t know Dutch). The galaxy far, far away really expands and comes to life in this film: characters grow, relationships develop, themes get more real.
- The Dark Knight. The biggest strength of the movie is Heath Ledger’s Joker. Heath Ledger brings this insane character to life from his quirks of constantly licking his lips to his sinister comical laugh – it’s beautiful.
- Mad Max: Fury Road. So, I might be cheating here a bit because I never have seen another Mad Max movie, at least, completely through. But this was probably my favorite film of 2015. Mad Max: Fury Road is amazing and honestly aside from the beautiful cinematography, I wasn’t rushing to see it in theaters. But once I did, what ride! So much more than the typical action film I thought it was going to be. SO. MUCH. MORE.
- Monsters University. So I might be in the vast minority here by saying I enjoyed this film more than Monsters, Inc *dodges pitchforks*. This one just really hit close to home by showing the reality that sometimes it’s not always a happy ending and we can’t always succeed but we can still grow and move forward.
- Jurassic World. Chris Pratt and raptors. Need I say more?
What are some of your favorite sequels in film, books, plays, et cetera?

As I mentioned on the right side of this post, I am a lazy reader. That is to say, I love to read. I won’t put a book down once I’m into the thick of a good plot. But it’s main meaning is that I can sometimes take long breaks away from books. For example, in 2016 I read one book how horrible is that? I’m ashamed to call myself an English major. Hopefully, by writing out the top 5 of my to be read pile I will hold myself more accountable to reading them and more, in general, this year.
- Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen (reread). I know, this might not count since I’m currently reading this book for the fourth time. But it’s one of my favorites and it’s been calling me. It’s light, happy, witty and Mr. Darcy Mr. Darcy Mr. Darcy. A goal of mine this year is to read all of Austen’s novels. Also, doesn’t it make sense to start the year off by reading a book you love so much? By giving me more motivation to find new books to fall in love with.
- Harry Potter and The Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling and Jack Thorne. I wanted to do a reread of the Harry Potter series before I read this one. I read the HP series once and as they were releasing so, it’s been a while since I’ve been transported to the wizarding world through words. I need to do it soon though because I’m dying to see what my stance will be since the reviews I’ve heard have been so mixed.
- The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Greek mythology is one of my favorite subjects to learn about anytime I can. I heard this book was a great read and on many favorites. Hopefully, this book will finally push me to read The Iliad and The Odyssey.
- Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde. I read Audre Lorde’s Zami: A New Spelling of My Name for my Women in Literature course and it was a powerful experience. Audre Lorde described herself as a “black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet” and her beautiful words will inspire you to speak out and embrace your differences especially at this time when we need it.
- 1984 by George Orwell. This book has been in my TBR pile for years. I did not have to read this book in high school like many others did. Now more than ever do I want to read it because so many people say how relevant it is to what’s happening in the world now. And if you read this book or know what it’s about, it’s a chilling notion to think about.
So there are just five books of my ever growing TBR pile. What books are you making it a goal to read this year?

At the moment, I’ve been binge watching The Office again, as one does. But here are the shows with new episodes that I’m most excited to see this year (if you haven’t seen the newest episodes of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones be for warned that this post contains brief spoilers):
- The Walking Dead (2/12). My favorite show ever. I’m excited to see my faves coming together to fight Negan. Though a part of me never wants Negan to go away because Jeffrey Dean Morgan is SO nice to look at and by far the best villain in anything ever.
- Game of Thrones (rumored 6/25). Not ready. But then again I’m never really ready for what this show decides to dish out and yet here I am still watching through the good times and the really, really bad. I can’t believe this is the second to last season. Anyways I’ve been beside myself ever since last year’s season finale. Daenerys is finally coming to Westeros!
- Broad City (August). I can’t really sum up this show. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about two twenty-something girls living in New York with mediocre jobs and yady yada I know we heard this one before but give it a chance it’s funny & smart – it’s really a great time.
- Bates Motel (2/20). I can’t believe it’s the final season. I’m excited but really sad to see one of my favorite shows go. If you haven’t seen it and are looking for a new show to watch definitely start this. All the season are on Netflix, get your binge on!
- House of Cards (5/30). I don’t even know what to expect this season. I think I have things figured out until I realize that I don’t. This might be too bleak and relevant to watch this year but, if you’re not too exhausted by dirty politics then you should definitely give this show a watch.
What shows are you most excited for? Leave me some suggestions I’m always looking for something new to watch!
*** Post originally posted on January 20, 2017, on my old blog
Star Wars Episode VIII should go without saying so I’m not going to count it in this list (this might be cheating but just a little).
- Beauty and the Beast. I can’t believe this movie is finally coming out! When I went to the D23 Expo in 2015, they announced the cast and I was most excited for Belle and Gaston. I feel like the “Gaston” sequence is going to be one of my favorites. Luke Evans and Josh Gad are going to be savage af.
- Wonder Woman. We’ve waited TOO long for this.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I can’t wait for the Guardians of the Galaxy hype to hit. What with Baby Groot and the new attraction opening at Disneyland during summer. Also, who’s excited about that new soundtrack/mixtape?
- Power Rangers. Can’t get over that trailer that premiered yesterday it’s going to be awesome. My inner child can’t contain itself!
- Coco. Although I have some qualms about this film, (the fact that its plot is similar to one of my fave animated movies Book of Life) I’m happy to see Disney/Pixar representing Mexican culture. I only hope the creators put a lot of thoughtfulness and consideration while making this film with regards to Mexican representation.

There are so many nerdy places that I would love to visit one day but I’m going to focus on the places I plan and hope to travel to this year:
- WonderCon. This will be my first time attending WonderCon and I’m super excited! I’ve become obsessed with going to conventions since my first to SDCC in 2014.
- San Francisco/HAMILTON. I'M FINALLY GOING TO SEE HAMILTON LIVE IN MY FAVORITE CITY IN THE WORLD ON MAY 26!! I get goosebumps every time I think about it. I have not been to San Francisco in almost 2 years. I’ll get to spend four days there and hang with my college friends that I haven’t seen since graduating. I left my heart in San Francisco…
- D23 Expo. I also bought my badges for this and I’m super, super, super excited! I went in 2015 and it was amazing! I can’t wait to see what films they will be teasing this year – The Incredibles 2 & Star Wars: Episode VIII, perhaps?
- Redwood Forests aka Endor. I’ve been dying to visit these beautiful forests for so long hopefully I can make it happen this year. Ideally, I would love to get a group of friends together and take a road trip up there.
- SDCC. 2014 was the first and last time I was able to get badges to San Diego Comic-Con. I’m praying hard to the con gods that this year will be my year – I am one with the force, the force is with me.
Where are you guys traveling or hoping to go this year? Anyone else planning on going to some of these conventions?

It’s been a rough year and a half. After graduating, my life got stuck in this bleak hole. I moved back to my parents’ house from San Francisco and not long after I couldn’t find the motivation to push my life forward. I’ve been stuck in this insecure and unhealthy limbo. In short, I lost a lot of the hard working, confident and courageous aspects of myself. And I haven’t been giving my all to try and find those qualities again
I wake up and go to sleep thinking about how I need to change but then tomorrow becomes today and today becomes yesterday. There are so many exciting events that I’m looking forward to this year that I don’t want to be plagued by this version of myself that I’ve become.
My goals for 2017 revolve around growing and moving forward. I need to push my life to mean something again – these are my goals for the year that I hope get me there:
- Write more. Write the good, the bad, the ugly – just write! I want to finish writing a short story and submit it to literary magazines. I want to finally commit and post consistently on this blog.
- Save money. My parents have been most gracious letting me live with them without the obligation of paying rent. But, I want to save money this year towards a car and a down payment on a condo. I thought about moving into an apartment because of how badly I crave my own space but it would be better for me, in the long run, to save and put money into a place I could eventually own.
- Improve relationships. I’ve become too distant with friends and rarely put myself in social situations which I know comes back to my insecurities and anxieties. I want to build my past and new relationships this year. I want to laugh and experience more.
- Improve health. To be frank, a great part of my insecurities comes down to my weight. Back in San Francisco, walking was all I did to get from point A to point B. I lost this when I moved back to LA. I’ve gained a lot and not only do I see it, it’s also taken a toll on how my body feels; the energy and motivation are just not there anymore.
- Career. I’m a receptionist at the moment and even though growing in this company could be beneficial money wise, my heart’s not in it. I crave creativity. I love to learn and I loved going to school. So I’m going to be working towards going back whether by grad school or making strides to getting my teaching credential.
I know these are pretty heavy goals and I already accepted that they won’t be obtained quick and they won’t get done perfectly. But, I’ll be proud of myself if I at least give it my all to reaching them.
2017 goals of your own? I’d love to hear about them and show my support! Sí, se puede!

About two weeks ago, I was finally able to go to San Diego Comic-Con. I have been trying to go to SDCC for the last three years but I was never able to get a badge during the sale. Each year, it gets more and more difficult because of its badge imitability and growing popularity. However, this year not only was I lucky enough to go one day but to three with my sister.
When the schedule for panels came out my excitement increased tenfold. Of all the panels released the one I had to go to was for The Battle of Five Armies. This was the last of the Hobbit films which meant that this would be the last time Peter Jackson would bring the world of Middle Earth to Comic-Con. You guys have to know that the end of these movies has me really emotional. It’s like the end of the Harry Potter movies all over again. And although the Harry Potter series are my favorite books, the Tolkien films Peter Jackson has adapted are my favorite movies of all time. So of course, I had to get my butt into this panel. Little did I know then, that getting into this panel would be difficult because it was in the infamous Hall H.
Now preparing for this thing was a whole experience onto itself. I researched many blogs with advice on how to tackle SDCC. However, of all the blogs I read, my favorite had to be thenerdygirlie.com. Megan had lots to share about Comic-Con from what to bring, what to expect, con hospitality, line information, etc. Not only is her blog such a helpful resource but a fun read filled with nerdy goodness.
My first day of SDCC finally came and overwhelming is the word that describes the first sight of the convention. So many people! I have no idea where to get my badge (I guess I didn’t prepare enough but I don’t think you ever do when it comes to SDCC). There were volunteers everywhere and so it wasn’t too long before we were greeted by the sweetest lady who gave us our badges. We got our Warner Bros swag bag and souvenir book and were now left to fend for ourselves in the con.
We somehow managed to find the line to get into the exhibit hall this was already probably one hour into the opening. I apologize now for not taking nearly as many pictures as I should have. I guess when you are experiencing something so exciting and for the first time you forget about all the social media updating commitments and live in the moment. That was my mentality for the weekend – just to take it all in and not have the burden of sharing every single moment on social media.
The first day was obviously full of surprises. And at first, the surprises weren’t completely good because my sister and I kept missing out on the meet and greet opportunities. Specifically, one to meet the cast of The Walking Dead. We kept trying to get into the line that would make you pick a raffle ticket that would then allow you to meet them. But the line kept closing every time we attempted to get in it. This bummed us out especially since we didn’t get into the panels we wanted to see so far that day. Don’t get me wrong, we still had a good time walking around the exhibit floor and seeing all the booths. There is so much to do that even if you don’t get into a panel there are so many other things you can see instead. Comic-Con is learning to prioritize – choosing one great thing over another. Our luck took a pleasant turn when we were waiting in line to go into the ABC booth, The Walking Dead cast had just finished their signing and was walking towards the exit right by where we were waiting. Despite their heavy security, the cast was super sweet and made an effort to say hi to the fans crowding around them including us. I got high fives from each cast member I saw which included Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Sonequa Martin-Green, Melissa Mcbride, Emily Kinney and Andrew Lincoln. Norman Reedus was there too but it got crazy; more and more people gathered so he wasn’t able to pass where I was standing. Major butterflies followed after that celebrity encounter. We also got to see the attractive boys from Teen Wolf as they were doing their signing. I don’t watch the show but they were all nice to look at.
Around 4 pm, my sister and I decided to go look for the Hall H line and scope out how many people were already camped out for tomorrow’s panels which included The Battle of Fives Armies. I thought 4pm would be ridiculously early so, I was hoping to be one of the first hundred people in line. HA! That wasn’t the case. We found the line and it was long! I’m not the greatest estimator but there were probably already about 500 people if not more. We set up our camp for the evening and chilled eventually talking with the people around us. Meeting people is truly the best experience at and con. Everyone around you is usually on some level of awesomeness because of their passion for film, comics, tv, etc. It didn’t take long for us to find a connection over something we equally geek over. We talked about Lord of the Rings and so much more. Sometime past 12am the volunteers passed out the newly implemented wristbands. When I got mine I was so happy. I was going to see The Hobbit panel! The camping out was funner than I thought it would be. I got no sleep as expected but I was fine and we had grass to lay on and the pleasant sounds of the ocean waves hitting the harbor. The only uncomfortable part came around 4am when temperature seemed to drop what felt like 20 degrees. It might have been the excitement, the people, the craziness or all of the above but the sixteen hours of queuing did not feel as long as you would think.
At 5:30am they began to condense the line and eventually we got into the hall around 8ish. Hall H is huge and there were so many seats to choose from. Because it was only me and my sister we were able to snag some seats closer to the stage. And so my entire day was spent in this hall sitting on not so comfortable chairs. It was all worth it though. I got to see The Hobbit panel which included seeing many of the amazing cast members (ORLANDO BLOOM), the teaser for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, a brilliant and inspiring panel called “Women Who Kick Ass” with Tatiana Maslany and Natalie Dormer, and I got to see the EPIC Age of Ultron panel which not only included seeing the first trailer but the Avengers themselves assembled on stage! I don’t think there is a word to sum up these events. “Wow,” maybe? No that doesn’t quite do it either.
Sunday was awesome in its own special way too. It was a much slower day and my sister and I just wanted to walk the floor and enjoy it one last time. Evangeline Lily was doing a signing and we were lucky enough to meet her. She was the sweetest person. It was a great way to end the con. She even said I had pretty hair!
So now here I am left in this post con depression which will most likely linger until next year’s con. It was everything and more than what I expected.
Here are the goodies I bought:
(Thorin’s map from The Battle of Five Armies, notice Evangeline Lily’s signature)
Suffice it to say, I plan to never miss a SDCC again!
